Metaverse must be something important, after all Facebook has rebranded to Meta. Metaverse is not a specific type of technology, rather it will be a new and advanced way of how people interact with technology. As Metaverse evolves, it is likely that new specific types of technologies will emerge and Metaverse itself will become a generic term like cyberspace. Metaverse combines digital and physical space. It will include and enhance aspects of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality as known today. Metaverse will provide more advanced forms of Virtual Worlds. Metaverse will give rise to a digital economy where people can create, buy and sell goods. Meta (Facebook) is building a Virtual-Reality Social platform (VR-Platforms) whose potential would extend far beyond typical social media platforms seen as of 2022. Metaverse will enable attending live events in VR by using avatars for the attendees. Metaverse will enable participants to build custom environments to hang out or play games. The infrastructure enabling Metaverse will include new technical building blocks. For example hosting of hundreds of people on a single instance of a server, advanced motion-tracking, etc. Worlds, user-generated vido games, selling virtual clothes, A metaverse is a network of 3D virtual worlds focused on social connection Feasibility - In December 2021 Raja Koduri senior vice president of Intel said that "Truly persistent and immersive computing, at scale and accessible by billions of humans in real time, will require more than a 1,000-times increase in computational efficiency from today’s state of the art."
